What do muslims know of their glorious pre-islamic past in countries like India,Pakistan and Bangladesh? Absolutely nothing! . They hold their own ancestors ,the Indus Valley Civilisation,the authors of Vedas, Puranas,Upanishads,Yoga, Ayurveda,the Epics of Mahabharata and Ramayana, or classics of Kalidas,,the various philosophies (such as Advaita,Samkhya, Mimamsa,etc.),or even modern thinkers like Gandhi,Radhakrishnan,Aurobindo,Tagore,etc.,in utter contempt! They would rather uphold in great esteem tyrants,despots,madcaps,bigots and immoral muslims like Mahmud of Ghazni,Mohamed Ghori,Aurangzeb,Tughlak,and the like. These things are deeply ingrained in their minds generation after generation that they simply cannot see beyond their rotten idealogies.

are you by chance aware of the western renaissance movement. This movement inspired the scinetific breakthroughs that the western world has seen since 15th century.
This was inspired by the translation and printing of scinetific journals from the islamic world. The built up on this base.
The vedic period you refer was the aryan race who came from eurasia (afghanistan to russia) and settled in India.
Muslims in India are from the same race as Hindus but the fact is that their ancestors chose to embrace islam during the last 1000 years or so. It was not by force.
I am a devotee of Ajmer even though I am a Hindu and this sufi saint was responsible for 92 lakhs conversion during his lifetime. You have to understand that the moghuls ruled india for 300 years. If the had forcibly converted no hindu would remain today.
you see modern genocide in Rwanda, Sudan, Bosnia, Iraq and this is being done in few years rather than a generation.
Gandhiji was murdered by a fanatic even though he was a devout hindu. I would say he would be the ideal if I have to follow him religiously.

If you Dig the History, you go backwards... There are thousands of wars between different groups of People. That was the Culture of Invasion was prevalent through out the World. The only aspect is Muslims were successful and you Project it for your Favour... Think about King Ashoka, present day Bihari (The Hindu) who persecuted thousands of Kalingans (present day Orissans)... For that you will advice the Orissans to take revenge on Biharis ??? Ofcourse,Hindus ,Budhists ,or Jains never had religious wars,crusades,jihads ,etc. to further their religion and in this great and ancient country always lived in peace. They did not go about debunking other faiths,proselytising,calling others sinners,polytheists(in a contemptuous manner),they did not invade other countries to harvest more followers,they did not persecute people because of their beliefs. Mind you ,even atheists ( who are called 'nasthiks) are respected for their perspectives.The 'Charavakas',the first atheists, were a contemporary of the Rig-Vedic times(which far precedes your Biblical patriarch,Abraham) and they were not hounded,persecuted and butchered as would have been the case of any Abrahamic religion. Even today 'secularism' has been the Indian ethos only because of the marority of Indians belonging to the non-Abrahamic religions.You don't find people persecuted because of the religion.In free India we had atleast three muslim presidents as head of state since our independence - Dr. Zakir Hussain,Fakhrudin Ali Ahmed, DR. Abdul Kalam ; not to speak of sevral judges of the supreme court ,high courts,chiefs of armed forces,well-known business tycoons,top civil servants,executives,also from the Christian minority groups,which speaks volumes for our secular position and we don't need your sermons about religious morality,when all through your history religion was the primary cause for wars and human misery.

Hindu Kings executed and supressed the Jains in many occassions.. 3) Dont Project yourselves as Peace Loving People.. if you know a little bit of history. Ashoka had a big empire
so also the khilji dynasty and the slave dynasty
later on the mughals gave a composite identity to india...
the marathas and the sikhs and the nizam were all used by the british to break the mughal empire and therefore there were 500 nationalities at the time of independence.
every village is different to the other yet we are all united as Indians. If it was not for the moghuls and british we would not have got our indian identity...
Also I wish that Pakistan should be there as it is one of the principal reasons that we are united. Otherwise there is racial / language / caste / religion tension everywhere. Every state wants to promote their regional language at all costs. so gujrathis like me have to learn marathi if we want to stay in Mumbai, or tamil if we want to stay in chennai or kannada in Bangalore.
British did not force us to forget our languauge or so the case with Moghuls but now in school a child is forced to learn english, hindi and the local languauge. why should it be necessary ?

Earlier i have talked about history not to glorify myself rather your past(thousands of yrs) What i mean to give u look the history of India with an Indian point view not with Mullana point view. Yes i do agree with u , there are some of the bad cultures are now our history. But still progressing and despite of these systems as past. Do you have the guts accept the evil form of arabic culture??? We are have the history of 60 years as Young India. We are become the 8th largest economy of the world despite of all odds.(Bombing..)
