it was correct
by Madhav on Sep 13, 2007 12:28 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Theft incidents have been on the rise in the area with eight being reported in the last three months. People had asked for police deployment, but no action was taken.

There have been concerns in the past that the police had not been taking the complaints of robbery by villagers seriously enough. Authorities now say that this could be one of the reasons why the villagers decided to take matters into their own hands and deliver street justice.....reported by YAHOO

what anyone can do under these circumstances...what the ppl did was absolutely correct

Perfect ! You are correct . It may not be suitable to these events in cities like delhi , mumbai , banglore . But place of bihar , where there is no law & order it require these events , infact i will say that remove those who are in current law dept in bihar & join these ppls who can govern the state.

This is lawlessness. This was not correct. If they had caught you and killed you, would that have been correct. Villagers had no right to kill them. Even if these men were thieves, they should have been handed over to the police with the evidence to prove it instead of murdering them. If we all are going to take the law in our own hands, how is it different from being junglee?

there will not be any proof against them....even there is something, it will be fabricated....courts will free them as there is not evidence...they will come back and kill those villagers as a revenge....now they were punished for what they did immediately

First of all, there is no report of any "thieves" killing any villagers so what you are saying is very hateful.

Come on man!! Every month there are many killing and robbery in Pune(Mumbai)"I know" by thieves.
I am not saying that what happened is right or wrong but.
It is not only in Bihar its everywhere.
And we have punishment defined in Law.
Now its not that there is no law and order in Bihar specifically. There is lawlessness everywhere but it is improving.
The best we can do to make awareness and use the law and order.
