As a native of this city I believe it's going in the right direction. Take the example of taslima case where the culprits were release within few hours due to political compulsions.
Same yardstick applies here. If you want to do it in a transperent manner here certainly the muslim parties will exert pressure to release the culrits/suspects and congress which always would like to lick their foots for the vote bank politics would agree to do the same.
I wish the culprits would be identified soon and others to be released.

Why "any insult to any religion" is not acceptable?? Who gave these religions that superior sanctity? Why is it that "insult to believers" is not acceptable but insult to non-believers is? And by the way, if you guys(Muslims/christians/hindus alike) are true believers then dont you guys believe that your gods will take care of them (those who "insult" religions) and send them straight to hell/punish them with repeated births or whatever? Where is the need for you guys to shout at those who "insult" religions???? You guys neither trust your gods nor yourself! My take is anyone shd have right to say anything on any religion..if anybody gets "sentimentally hurt" its their problem and its they who shd go to the psychiatrist and learn how not to get "sentimentally hurt" for anything and everything that has got to do with religion!!

years after it is established that madrasis do a lot of good hindu things and are better paractitioners of hindu thoughts, remember sankara madhva ramanuja ramana etc, in addition to good idlis, this innocent but arrogant maha moderator remains in his cocoon in north india. wake up. accept or refute comments. idlis wont help.
