Bangalore is not a good city. The infrastructure is worst than any big Indian city and most tier III cities. The auto drivers are crooks. The poor people from this city seem to hate all fair color north Indian looking folks. Compared to cities like Bombay, Delhi, Chandigarh, Pune, the people look unglamarous and not modern.

Mr. MGR First you should learn to respect the regional lang. whereever you go. It is not the states like Karnataka or any other north states. Where people commonly speak Hindi or many lang. South is different, particularly TN is fully different where more than 95% of the peoples lang. speak tamil. So Tamil plays vital roles in every sectors from Business, private, Govt. and even IT cos. and moreover People are majority of them are tamilian. Though English is used only for business & official purpose.
If say to learn the Tamil lang. Suddenly you blame me as DMK supporter. I am not a DMK or ADMK supporter. I am justifying and concerned towards Tamil lang.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION I KNOW TO READ, WRITE AND SPEAK HINDI FLUENTLY. In todays scenario everything is changed MGR, gone are the days. In today in TN you can find many learning Hindi. Becoz to find better opportunites and better employment. But our tamil concern is that "DON'T IMPOSE HINDI" When we people learn Hindi in the North after finding good opportunites. Why not you don't learnt Tamil??And next you say that I am Tamil Fanatic. VAZHAGA TAMIL.

For Raghunath and MGR Fan: Need drives the modern market friendly democratic society, not force. If a Punjabi has a degree in theology and wants to research temples of Chola dynasty, he will learn Tamil. If a Bengali has an IIT degree and works for Infosys in Chennai, he will not learn Tamil no matter how hard your DMK or the society tries. But if both of the above want to have a vibrant social life being in Tanjore or Chennai, they both will automatically learn Tamil! And, for MGR Fan - although I appreciate the spirit of your statement when you say English is the passport to the world, you have to understand that culture and identity of any region comes from the native language and it can't be ignore in the personal space. (as against the preference is using English in the professional space). Look at Europe. Although any damn guy knows the power of English, the art-culture scene in Italy, Spain or France is fully dominated by Italian, Spanish and French languages respectively.

Mr Raghunath, are you one of those DMK supporting hypocrats who talk about Tamil, but watch Hindi movies and drool at North Indian girls?
English is the link language of India and yes, Tamils dont know Hindi (incl me) but it is goodenough if North Indians visiting South India know good english.English should do. We cant expect everyone to learn all the 18 languages of India. That is something only jobless intellectuals and communist/DMK types can do. We are normal people and enough if we can speak good english. English is the passport for whole world
