Very few people care to find out what the real story of Sino-Indo conflict is all about. Let's hear it from independent historians and not what we were fed through our Indian history books. The border between British India and China was never agreeded upon (or mapped )at a number of places. The British appropriated this as theirs and passed on the legacy to India. Neither countries can absolutely lay their claims to some of the contentious areas. The problem can only be solved through dialog and mutual concessions. It is alright to be jingoistic and say not an inch of land/ not a blade of grass should go to China but are the claims entirely true.. May be not..

But boss most of these border dispute regions are in tibet-china and we all know how china acquired tibet.. Only had India had the nerve to stop china when it invaded tibet we would not have faced this border dispute s*** with China. Let them first resolve their tibet issue and let a formally elected tibet govt acknowledge that there is indeed a border dispute with India then let us have a look at it

Yes,facts are distorted.Infact,Mao was insisting on talks and talks and meetings for peaceful conclusion,apart from regular reminders that new posts are getting built well inside their territory, which was mutually decided by Britishers and China.However,Nehru was hell-bent on one agenda and was confident of repelling in case war starts,unaware of the actual facts and capabilities of our forces, and didn't listened to our generals on front.Eventually we lost.Chinese even cleaned and polished the rifles while returning them back after the truce.
