RE:Whose claim is entirely true?

Yes,facts are distorted.Infact,Mao was insisting on talks and talks and meetings for peaceful conclusion, apart from regular reminders that new posts are getting built well inside their territory, which was mutually decided by Britishers and China. However,Nehru was hell-bent on one agenda and was confident of repelling in case war starts, unaware of the actual facts and capabilities of our forces, and didn't listened to our generals on front.Eventually we lost.Chinese even cleaned and polished the rifles while returning them back after the truce.
