BJP in Karnataka
by jamsheed abumohammed on Nov 09, 2007 02:20 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

It is very unfortunate for South India particularly Karnataka, the BJP is all set to rule the peaceful southern state. The real BJP will be exposed in the days to come. Whether they have learnt a lesson from the past and whether they will create an atmosphere of amity among all the religious group will be seen in the days to come. Lets wait and watch the development. The Gowdas have done a great disservice to the State by siding with the communal party thereby risking their credentials as a secular party. They should have gone to poll instead of supporting the BJP if they were true to their words. Both these parties public speakers said many things against each other but finally self interest prevailed over the national and secular interest. Now that it has been done, except watching on the sideline we cant do much about it. Lets hope the secular forces will join together to defeat the communal forces in the next elections exposing the chinks in the armoury of the present BJP-JD(S) coalition. All talks of secularism are hollow and meant to pacify the minorities who now feel insecure. It is for Congress and other secular parties to come together and protect the interest of the minorities when need arises. Safronization of Karnataka may be prevented if Congress and other parties joined together to put up a very strong front in the next elections. The peaceful south should not go the way of Gujarat. Is another Modi is in making in South, time alone will tell.

your writing is Full of absurd ideas.
JD(S) has enjoyed power with the support of BJP for 20 months and how its secular credentials will be damaged when they have to pay back the favour as per their mutual agreement.

Even after 60 Years of congress cheating the minorities of secularism You show your pathetic ignorance about congress.

BJP is constitutionally recognised party and it has all the credentials to rule any state. They have ruled for 5 years at the centre and what problem minorities had during the rule ?
Whether any harm is done to Gujrat by Modee will be known only after the next elections. If any wrong doing was done by him the Gujrat people will take care of him. Outsiders have no reason to worry.
All parties(VP Singh, Mayavati et al,) have used BJP whenever it suited them and then accuse it of communal. What measurement system they use measure secularism ?

It is interesting to note that you call Karnataka still a peaceful state inspite of a spate of terrorist strikes and attempts.
Dont forget the failed bomber in Glasgow airport was from Karnatka.

No Karnataka is no longer peaceful. If it appears to be peaceful it is deceptive.

Dear Jamshed,
It is high time that the minorities in India learn from the past. What is secularism? If a majority community says he is a from the majority we name it as Secularism. For congress and left and third front Muslim League, kerala Congress and Akali Dal are secular parties. What a pity? All the parties used minorities as vote banks only and they never wanted them to be educated.
When Tasleema & the danish painter wrote or painetd some thing bad, we were ready to hang them. A public figure (I heard that he is christian by himself) abuse RAMA no problems for secularists.
What is the difference between Gujarat and nandigram? The matter matters is death of innocents. Some one does in the name of reliogion and other idealism.
WE need some one to rule to develop India, Not karnataka, Bihar or any state. Think Indian and dream big.
USe your Vote to bring change.

This is a reply to all my critics, who failed to understand the message underlying the article. What Jamsheed thinks today, the rest of India will think tomorrow. You people seems to have one line agenda, supporting the BJP and undermining the minorities. Minorities are the deciding factors in any elections, and the political parties are aware of it. That is why it is called 'Vote Bank'. The muslims of Karnataka are fully aware of the developments taking around them in the political arena and act accordingly. The muslim baiting by many of my critics have totally lost sight of the problem Karnataka is going to face in the days to come because of BJP. The Gowdas are going to be tested and rested very soon. In the alternative we have no choice but to support the name sake secular Congress, though they were responsible equally for the martyrdom of Babri Masjid. They did nothing to prevent the post Godra massacre in Gujarat. All shed crocodile's tears and all Modi can do in Gujarat is leaving a legacy to be emulated by others to annihilate all those who oppose them. The Karnataka, which is not my native state, was peaceful to my knowledge, as I visited many placed there and saw to myself, the ever loving people of Karnataka. To such loving people my sympathy goes as a communal party will do no good to them. Wait and see there will be infighting in the BJP like in UP and Madhya Pradesh, then the whole critics will call me a foreteller. Emulate Great Karunanidhi.

When BJP comes into power, it is communal. When a foreigner comes into power, it is people's wish. I can't understand people of this country. All this could also have been thought of when Gowda run the government with BJP support. Why all this talk of Gowda's 'disservive' now? Gowda, in any case, is a known rebel, destroyer and treacher. He did never stand for values. His support to BJP is only to save his party. Mr. Jamsheed, do not be under any impression that Congress, commies etc are 'secular'. They will sell this country a thousand times and ditch any community any number of times for their political gains . The major difference between BJP and others is that BJP does offer any special favours to Muslims that become the root cause of Hindu reaction. Better ask Congress and other jokers to play impartially before expecting others to improve.

Mr Jamsheed Abu Mohd.
Who told you Congress is a secular party?
I am sorry about your ignorance. Congress is an anti Hindu party, pro Muslim and Christian run party. It is the bane of India. You can see India growing when Congress is losing its popularity. Wherever Congress has been in power for a long period since Independence those state are all full of corruption and backwardness. For e.g. UP, Bihar, NE States, J and K, etc. etc. Wherever, Congress lost power in the last 30 years, see the great improvement in those states.

Good that Congress lost power. One thing, even if you go to Pakistan, you will not be happy. See the state of affairs in Pakistan.

Muslims should learn to live with other faiths. Not try to convert them or rule over them. Only then the world will be a great place to live.

Otherwise, the world will become another Pakistan, Afghanistan or Iraq.

Ja, Mr.Yediyurappa will be swearing in as a CM of KA and this Ministry will be going on and off, till bjp find themselves at place. The Formation of the Ministry is to create a basis in KA, (a loving , peaceful state). Their aim is only to win the hearts of the people for thecoming Election. As a lover of this PEACEFUL STATE, i am worried of another "Godhra" in KA before the next Election.

The minorities will be insecure till they successfully out breed others and become a majority. Then the others will be persecuted as they are in Muslim countries and converted.

Dear Jamshed,
STOP VIOLENCE ?. Why not make a true start. First of all stop killing animals. So not kill the cow. Cow is a very mild animal. Just because it cannot complain or rebel some people kill the cow for food. God has given us wisdom -eat grains and vegetables.
Why yell only when there is violence on religious grounds where people of both sides are hurt.
STOP KILLING. STOP KILLING ANIMALS. STOP KILLING THE COW.
