Report from Governor Rameshwar Thakur
by Dharmendra Shukla on Nov 06, 2007 02:34 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

What is happening in Karnataka is very bad sign for the democracy. Governor is working as a political person belongs from congress, why he is waisting the time in taking decision. however MLA's has been meeting with him they have proved their number in the Rajbhawan. It is upto governor how he wants to make his image in the country & perform his job honestly without biasness because this is not only related to him but also for others as well as for coming generation. As he had sworn in the name of god for the same at a time of appointment for justice to all. Meanwhile this case should be decided by President of India that Governor will continue or take final decision

congress wants power by backdoor.

President = puppet of Congress
Governor = puppet of Congress
President's rule = Governor's rule = Congress rule.

Dear Mr. Dharmendra, one should understand that the constitutional limit in india. The governor can easily call these BJP & JDS people to form the government. But what is the guarantee that this will stand for another 19 months? initially there was a greement between the JDS & BJP for 20:20 months. Even gowda was opposed this deal. later he agreed & given certificate to his son that he is doing well.

after 20 months, the power transfer suppose to be automatic like in jammu & kashmir.

after thier period, if they refuse to give the power & later again came back with support. is there any meaning for the democrasy? what is the faith that karnatak people will have on thire leaders?

governer may thinking to invite a mejority group to form the government.

we have to wait & watch as per the constitutional codes, the power transfer may happen..or the assembly can be disolved.

both these parties can again go back to people of karnataka & come back to power.

All ur arguments are absolutely baseless.
The constitution clearly says that a person with a majority MLAs in assembly should be called to form the goverment. Any other arguments have no place in the constitution.

Anytime, every party have full freedom to support or withdrw from a goverment. thats democracy. There is nothing wrong in this. Its completely legal.

Can anyone predict the future ?
What about the UPA govt in Cetre ? The Left parties are always fighting with Congress. Left keeps shouting that they will withdraw support. Whats the guarantee that they rule properly , and don't fall before completing the term? By ur argument, the UPA should not rule in the Centre? What a bullsh1t argument. It only shows that u are ignorant of Indian Politics & constitution.

vikas, are you a constitutional expert. the governor to use his wisdom, if he has. I think in this case, he is using his wisdom man. merely to count numers, we dont need a governor, mere a watchman is sufficient. all the rules to be applied with caution and all, may be you are lacking or blind on this issue.
