Not surprised
by Aftab on Nov 02, 2007 10:40 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

I am least surprised with these revelations. The way Dr Haneef was being treated (very harsh treatment)despite the fact that he was a victim of circumstances and was himself not involved in the cowardly act of some of his relatives in a different country was an ample evidence that the administration in Australia is acting in haste and is trying to cover up the things by magnifying small issues beyond its limit.

It is Australian people and human right group who compelled the government to bring sanity.

The people in power were making the mistake like George Bush and Tony Blair. We know how their downfall took place.

There is a lesson for all those who are in power all over the world and for those who are aspiring for top positions. Do not be biased towards anyone. Be fair in your approach and act honestly else you are destined to stand as a looser at the end of the game.

your comments should also consider that in all islam nations there is no justice or fair trails but only beheading or killing. please do not be biased. atleast the austrailan govt did what they could do best & later released him. in the Middle east this is not so. its really suprising that people want human rights in developed nations & in thier own home country or those nations which have their same religious beliefs they do not get the same nor dare to speak on that. this is double standards

The Australian police must function like the Hyderabadi police.
After the blasts in Hyderabad, the Hyderabadi police officials made some statements like "we knew something would happen but not exactly aware" etc.
One of B.Raman's article in Rediff mentioned that lot of Muslim households in old city area of Hyderabad have pictures of Osama Bin Laden in their homes.
Only when someone will come forward and accept the responsibility the Hyderabadi police will make the arrests.

if gujarat people can elect MODI as their leader and it is democratic right. what is the wrong if people keep the photo of osama, even in police station & other public places there are photos of criminals and pickpocketers.
