The explanation shown above, may be,is known to the political leaders. But is an inconvenience when they pose as the champions of the down-trodden. They are worried much about their Kursey than social development. Social development is possible only when they use the equality for all without discrimination in religion/caste etc. We have no evidence as to the achieved development with regard to the reservation category even after sixty years. The cat will be out of the bag when this is done. Reservation is a malignant affair. There must be some full stop. When judiciary try to reign-in, politicians try to malign them which is most unfortunate.

Yes, you are right! There are few steps to get rid of reservation! i) The informal reservation that led the raise of particular communities to reach the helm of power should stop first! ii) Intercaste marriages should be encouraged. iii) Caste related data should not be recorded in any documents. iii) Discrimination on the basis of caste should be punished severely. iv) Now, remove the reservation - It is meaningless!

1)If you forget the caste system from Hinduism, what is left? There is no Hindu religion. 2) Some Catholic institutes(Stella Maris, Womens' Christian College, Chennai) are asking to mention your caste in application form. Students are bound to write it. Otherwise the form is incomplete. Can our constitution stop it?

By name you dont seem to be Hindu. Pls. let me know what do you know about Hinduism. The caste system was introduced later and is not the original Hinduism. Now Hindus have started discarding castes and Hinduism is the most relevent religion in todays world. Pls. dont have the misconceptions.

You are completely ignorant of hinduism. The people how convert to hinduism in west dont have any cast but they are strong beleivers in hindu philosophy!!Hindus who migrated to the carribian islands have given up caste long back. Parsis who migrated to India even they had caste, but gave their occupation with caste and became one.
By the way why the British Royals and the other European Royals marry between themself and their own denomination,Why dont they marry commner!!!!!!!!!!!
Hinduism is the only religion that incorporates modernity and old traditions(Albeit some of those older traditions like caste system cannot be justified anymore). Hinduism is not defined by caste system alone. Tukaram/Namdev/Gyaneshwar all were saints who defined Hinduism but without caste barriers. Caste system needs to be eradicated. Yes but that doesnt mean we will stop being Hindus any more.

Some of my Add ons to your list 1. First bar people from havig more than one children.(Irrespective of religion). 2. Get high quality and fool proof census data. 3. Try to distinguish people by economic capability and not on caste and creed. 4. Have fool proof Law system, and bring all the black mopney to public, use that money for the welfare of poor children education and poor old peoples' health care.
I feel education is the right thing which can change the attitude of people, it is parents who are responsible for a person to become a full fledged person or a crook, todays children are tomorrows parents, so atleast let the future generation have a reservation less society.

Oh Yeah, Explain Goan Inquisition, The Crusades, Vatican siding with Nazi's more recently Rwanda Massacre in which Hutus aided by missionaries murdered 1 million Tutsi's. All are not equal in Christianity. If thats the case why dont you have just one Single search and one Pope. Why do you have thousands of Churches?
