1. It explicitly creates irrational hierarchy among Indians which is against Article 14. 2. Parents covertly train their children to coerce other children as per the above hierarchies. I deplore any other religion that does this.

Before venturing to comment read Vivekananda and Paramahamsa who said there is no need for any change in ones religion. Shidi Baba said conversion is like changing ones father. The colonial historians and the left leaning historians of today have misled the people and so most are ignorant of the virtues of Hinduism

I invite you to join Islam and stand besides me drink my water and pray in my mosque, but can you invite any perosn from lower caste in your religion to drink and sit in your house and on your sofa and pray in your temple near you, please think about it then blame anyone, In islam we dont follow cast system EVEYRONE IS EQUAL, we all go together for prayers and wear clean clothes. Hi Qwazi, your islam believes that EVEYRONE IS EQUAL in ISLAM only .But in our hindu religion we believe that EVEYRONE IS EQUAL in all religions.That is why still muslims are in India.If we take randomly 100 hindus,We can find atleaset 90 persons as secularists.Take the same case in muslims we can find only 10 persons are secularists like our KALAM.Becoz of muslim invaders only this culture has been ruined.

Dear Fawaz please get knowledge and then comment on any religion. The caste system is not a part of our religion, and the word Hindu refers to all who live to the right side of Indus river irrespective of ones religion.

Hi Vadali VenkataRamaKishore, Muslims ask reservation based on, universally accepted principle or so called affirmative action, RESERVATION FOR "POOR" not based on your caste, creed or religion. But what is heppening SC/SC/OBC gets reservation r hindu even if he is rich. If he change his belief he won't get the benefit. Why this double standard, does his fortune changes with the change in his belief. Change the constitution let the POOR get reservation irrespective of caste, creed or religion.

"Affirmative action" practised in USA & other countries and "caste based reservation"in India have world of difference between them.. . 1.Affirmative action is not based on caste. 2.It is not compulsory..It is upto the discretion of the employers. 3.It is not a fixed quota.. Please understand the difference.. Also our friend Mir alam should read the most recent report by National survey organisation of India, which says that the employment rate among Muslims is similar to that of the Hindu population. India is a country with the greatest magnanimity.If people from minority group are suppressed by the majority people, then none of the people from minority group would not have become big-shots in India. There are numerous examples..People from the minority group like Tata and Bajaj ( who are from Zoroastranism, which is a much less represented group in India than Christianity & Islam ) have never said that they were suppressed by majority people when they were trying to make their progress. One has to learn the Vedas before criticising. this is a basic knowledge that one should have learnt & understood what they are talking about.
