Like USA have election for only one post - ie * President of India * 1]Keep his tenure of 3 years. 2]Like in USA form the system to have control on President's major decisions 3]Abolish present British system All this rat race of power game will vanish. Decide norms for the deservedness for candidate who can stand for President's poast. Let him appoint deserving candidates for different portfolios including state level. You can call United States of India

We can only take few things from US system and keep our existing system.
Like having candidates who want to run for PM office announce an year before the election and have a public debate on issues. we cannot completely take the us system.
