The opposition mainly TMC, SUCI and Nxalites are responsible for the situation. Mind it that this battle is no longer for acquision of land. this is political. CM had announces very next day that no land will be acquired without consent of people. still during the last two months they have isolated Nandigram from rest of WB by cutting roads. They have drove out more than 1000 CPIM workers out of their home to take political reasons. They have right to return to their homes. They did not allow police to enter the area. Maintaining peace is responsibility of not only CM but all of us. The DM had called several all party meetings but except CONG, no other party turned up. The have not let the administration to repair roads despite several request. In the last two months several oppoition leader alongwith some intectuals(??) have visited the area. But none have taken any initiative to bring nornmalcy. They have encouraged the people to continue the bolckage. By this time several people and one police officer has been killed by them. So it became the sole responsibity of administration to bring back normalcy. How long police should wait? The police entered the area not suddenly. The day and time were announced earlier. So the opposition got time to prepare. They have not entered to arrest any one. Still the people swayed by TMC propaganda resisted putting the women in front, and attacked the police with bombs. The instruction to them was given from Kolkata over mobile. Police have not fired at once but they followed the sequence.
For what is this? Not for land, but to gain some advantage in coming Panchayat election. The opposition is reduce to to a minimum in assembly (Total 63 out of 294). They are detached from people. Any move of government they oppose. They have opposed the land reform. They opposed Hladia Ptrochem and Bakreswar thermal Power Station. They know that if industry comes to WB they have to wind up thier party.

Apurba is speaking facts and has got brains.. you are speaking rubbish... when CPIM admits a mistake it becomes a news all over India and when other parties go on doing mistake whole through their existence (TMC a great example) then its a voice for the people

one simple question? how come the opposition is responsible for death of children and women? Even if the villagers didnt allow the police to enter...they allowed the journalist...now on wednesday..your party workers ddint allow even the reporter to enter..your caders ddint even allow police or oppostion to enetr..so that you can run mahem within the Nandigram..is thsi rule of law??
Nobody reported that CPM workers were out of home..even if so..you killed 20 women and children to give them back home..and as the TV report shows,...all remining villagres had fled to save themselves from police..
CPM is the best party to terrorise the comon man...and streamline..any opposition ..
by the way..police office was not killed here...know the place properly..as by your own admission ..villagers ddint allow police to enetr..then how ddi they kill them...?? Be rest assured...your party will win election..and you also know ..this si to show power of Mr. Lakshamn seth (the local goon-come land graber-come MP)...all election in next 10 years will be own may be by CPM..but i will think twice to cast vote for your party..which could have been my party as well..you have lost the support of the common ppl..time you guys admit it..

ur 100% right... people doesnt realise this... why r indians going abroad, coz there are better facilities ooutside.... we dont realise that 1 job of a peon in a office or company like TATA creates 4 other different jobs... the opposition parties are hopeless cases... do the farmers realise that, they will be getting 1000 times more than they can make in their life time, if these companies come here...
please allow some one as visionary as Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee to develope WB...
do u know... there were many opposition even for legendary Dirubhai Ambani...

I think instead of talking so high about your party first understand why this is happening.The reasons are many but few are as : A)The top most man in cpim , shri BUddha babu had got no credibilty of hi own.Today he wll say one thing & tomorrow he will turn down his words.IN 2004 he said book fair will be shifted in bypass, in 2005 he requested court to go ahead with fair once last time but as soon as he entered 2006 his words chaged to that this book fair is part of culture in west bengal.In dalmiyas case he openly acted as road side cheap goonda & started threating him.
B)look how angry those one thousand cpim workers were when they had been drove away from their home, they acted as goondas(though every cpim cadre is originally this) & took revenge by killing innocents.
C) What will u do if one day u had been asked to leave your home, u will also try to protect it.
D)Is this is the way industries are to be developed.Compare your stratagy to the stratagy adopted by GUJRAT government, you will find your govt is way back in development.
E)Your loose is mine gain & everyone knows how fair elctions are held in w.b., so please do not give details of seats.

I completely agree to disagree. They are in power by scientific manipulation and bogus voting. Above all in many states they instigate violence in the name of benefit of common people. They blocking all bills on financial reforms. But when it comes to WB they talk everything like industrialisation. Irony is in Keral thry will not speak the same language (not literal)as in WB. For each state they have own priority. Commies are the most selfish people in the world. It is high time they are thrown out of the power,country and if possible from the entire world

you don't stay in WB and have no idea.. TMC or congress or BJP is the most useless party that you can find on earth in WB.. inspite of all the mistakes CPIM is a peoples choice, rigging or not they will win as they don't have any alternative. And for your information, CPIM is a much better and cleaner party than most of the parties in India.. they do mistake and have also their philosophy and theres no wrong in it,they are at least brave enough to admit and analyze them
