Americans hate terrorists for a reason, they were attacked by them. In India people hate based on caste for no rhyme or reason. What harm has the poor rickshaw puller or a house maid done to deserve a humilitating treatment? What harm has a poor low caste child done to deserve disgusting treatment? How many high caste people lost these lowly paid jobs of a rickshaw puller, a house maid, a servant, a laborer as a result of reservations? Indians who practice caste based discrimination in India and then go to America and complain about discrimination in America are hypocrites and shouldn't be taken seriourly. Instead of Bush, Amrit Kaur should condemn her father the Prime Minister of India for not fighting the caste system as a critical issue. Eleminating the caste system will help in making the lives of one billion people better.

OK just try to list out from 1950 with DATES how many attacks the terrorists made on America...
and how many times America attacked the terrorists' countries either directly or through its stooges like Israel...
you will get the picture my friend....I feel sorry for Americans, as its populace is suffering for the imperialist and materialistic greed of its government....

Why do you think India cannot finish off Pakistan even after so much of turmoil caused by pakistan's ISI and army....Its because of America...
In fact if americans do not support Musharraf and the pak army, believe we will have a peaceful neighbourhood.
We had terrorists in Punjab as well...did we finish off Punjab to finish off terrorism...we have terrorists in Assam as well can we finish off Assam????
What have the americans achieved in 20 years of war on terrorism....has Osama's following reduced or increased ten-fold...
Terrorism is not an army which can be fought with, it is an ideology and history is proof that ideology can only be defeated by ideology.

The terrorists in Punjab did not have much support of masses because that activity was conflicting with the religious beliefs of Sikhs. In case of ULFA - again the assamese are not supporting terrorism - and ULFA does not randomly target civillians. In case of Islamic terrorism - the war is very different - its a fight against a belief that is commited to either convert others or kill them with masses supporting that. That leaves fewer options for America and rest of the world to work with.

Thats very illogical....
Osama and his followers did not go to america to convert Christians to Islam at any point of time...
Let me enlighten you a bit here...there is 2 very distinct separate group of islamists...1 which goes about trying to convert people as there are christian and Buddhist missionaries... and another group that feels that islam is in danger and the enemy is America and its supporters and thinks it is waging a Jihad against it...
I do not agree with both....but thats the fact.
Also as Punjabis and assamese in a majority do not support terrorism, in the same way Muslims do not support terrorism....Please understand Muslims are more than 20% of world population...if all of them were terrorist you would not find them so hard to find, you wont have to go to the caves in Afghanistan for them.

Don't try and create "reasonableness" in your argument - Osama was an A class terrorist with mass following before Bush even realised he existed. In fact one reason for Osama being successful for 9-11 was because Bush was negligent about the harm Osama can cause. But once Bush acted - Osama is gone - and his supporters are only killing other muslims and terrorism against America has not happened since then.

You are overplaying the caste issue..Indian society by & large is extremely humane, and no society is tested more than an Indian esp Hindu...just fact that India gets along in such diversity is testimony to Indias human values...yes problems exist, but think of it this way - Ambedkar bashed Hinduism and ended up being a national figure and got to write Indias constitution, Salman Rushdie writes a book and they want his head !! think in another angle as well..just ONE 911, just ONE..and u hv 29% Americans polling they would want to TAG Muslims..can u even imagine anyhting like that in India?? can u imagine the Indian PM using terms like Islamofascism, Crusade etc??? can u name even from the so called Hindu party people who do that with conviction?? do u hv talk shows like Michael Savage of Rush Limbaugh in India routinely calling a spade a spade in no uncertain terms...hey come on Kumar have a heart when u talk abt India!1

Methinks you rake up the caste issue too much, whatever the subject is. Your showing yourself up as a caste/religion opportunist. For people like you, the US is the best place. You certainly can't play the caste card there, but no doubt you can play the religious card there. Just make sure that the chain with the cross you wear is VERY large and visible.

I don't think I rake up too much about the issue that has caused and is still causing slavery, lack of law and order and lack of ethics, morality and justice in the Indian society. The repercussions of the caste system that causes a lack of empathy for fellow citizens, prevents people from attaining their true potential are leathal. We can never talk enough about the bane of the caste system that has destroyed and contines to destroy India.

So lets start by not raking it up all the time. It seems more like you want to keep the issue alive, so that anti-hindu opportunists (perhaps you belong to that quarter despite your quoting Vivekananda now and then - but then I've known christian missionaries quote the gita and krishna to show that the entire hindu religion points to Jesus).
The problem in India is the over dose of caste politics, and not enough of coming to the root cause of the problem - ineffective implementation of the affirmative action programs, and constant and convenient scape-goating of certain castes so that those who are truly responsible for the caste crimes can escape the law. Either you are a christo, who takes every opportunity to keep the caste issue alive for the benefit of conversion, or you belong to certain OBC caste that is actually responsible for all the atrocities against the dalits/SCs and are making a lot of noise to divert attention. Tick one...

See, this is the problem with India! You cannot even imagine that I am against the caste system because I am sure it is the single most factor destroying India. You have to tag me to be belonging to a certain group A or group B. I have a great love for justice, fairness and ethics, this is missing from India from the past 3000 years, and every time India tries to build these values the caste system comes and destroys it. I must have quoted Vivekananda in the past beacuse I feel he thinks like a rationalist and a scientist that resonates well with my own thinking, lot of other religious leaders are not scientific and ration enough to hold my attention for long. But that's besides the point, the caste system is still winning against India because it has strong allies in vested intrests and unethical crooks.

But the solution to the terrorist problem is not what you have suggest...terrorism is a social problem and has social solutions...Terrorism cannot be won over by force!!!!!

Does anyone know that the first rule that the Iraq's "democratically" elected government took was to open its oil wells to the western companies....do we know that Donald Rumsfeld and his companies has been the greatest beneficiary of the oil and oil for food programs....
BY killing innocents from the terrorist population pockets bush is only justifying the terrorist
