Present Chief Justice of India, a Dalit, had to assume Xtianity as otherwise CHurch run school was not giving his education.

However, after passing out, HE UNDERWENT SHUDDHI AND BECAME A HINDU.

WHY CAN'T V RAVI, HIS SON UNDERGO SHUDDHI AND BECOME A HINDU.

Problem solved.

Give me scriptural justification for "Shuddhi ceremony". Which Chapter, verse no. of which scripture-Vedas, Gitas etc. mebntion this????

Very simple.All those Xtians and Muslims who wish to revert to their ancestral religions need to do is stop following Xtian/muslim rituals. That is all. What is this nonsense "Shuddhi"?????

Hello Anand,
Every govt rule in a govt dept is not defined in constitution. Simialrly every thing is not referenced to Vedas alone. Vedas is like constitution . There are agama sastras which guide and spell the procedures for conducting rituals and ceremonies in Temples. The sastras are voluminous and the Tantri of guruvayoor is one of the persons who had been taught about them. When your Doctor prescribes a medicine , do you every time ask him to show the Page no and Volume No of the Medicine book?

Now coming to suddhi- it is a puification ceremony. it is done on many occasions. When a devotee collapses in the prmises of teh temple shuddi is one. That does not mean that we are showing disrespect to the Dead person .

The interview of Tantri is matured and reasoned one. Let us allow the Tantri to run the rituals of the temple as long as he follows teh Sastras.

Hey anand,
Agama system does not come in veda etc.
It is system evolved by our anceistors.
There couple of systems fallowed by different faiths like shaivites, vaishnavites etc.

One such system is "PANCHARATRA" Agama which is being practised in Tirupati.

Dear Mr. Bhaskar Chattopadhyay understand that Shri. Vayalar Ravi belongs to a Hindu family and nobody doubts it. There remains a tail that his wife belongs from Xian. It would be better when Mr. Vayalar Ravi married her, to keep his faith in Hinduism they ought to have had Shuddhikalasham.
One thing more there, Shri Yeshudas family was also from Hindu Nadar family and further they converted their religion to xian.
Who are struggle/quarreling behind this matter have to understand the fact clearly.
