Dear Friends, France has the largest number of Nuclear reactors used for power applications. Do we need americans, Why not ally with the russians as everytime they have helped us and we have lot of russian technlogy been used. If we need to upgrade then use the French as they are commercially producing power and supplying in whole Europe using nuclear technology.

The problem is that, US has imposed sanctions on India. To maintain good relations with US, neither France nor Russia can move forward to ally with India in terms of nuclear cooperation. Thus its imperative that we have to break those sanctions with US and then move forward with France and Russia in terms of importing technology and nuclear fuel.
