An analysis
by Saurabh Nirantar on Jul 05, 2007 07:42 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

In every country in the world where muslims are a minority, they engage in militant activity. Starting from the east, Australia, Philipines, Thailand, Bali, India, Russia, Germany, France, UK, Spain, USA. These countries have very diverse cultures, but all have trouble with Muslims. Therefore the common element being Islam, it is a logical conclusion that Islam is the factor behind the militancy.
On the other hand in all countries where muslims are in a majority, the country is immediately declared an "Islamic Republic" and oppressive laws are passed against non-muslims. Starting from the east, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Pak, Iran, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Saudi A, etc. None of these countries treat non-muslims equally, eg in terms of inheritance, public office, political power etc.
All non muslim countries are secular and do not have laws discriminating on religious grounds, but all muslim dominated countries have discriminatory laws and turn a blind eye towards oppression of non-muslims.
The above facts clearly implicate Islam as the source of bigotry, since culture, history etc are widely diverse.
The main problem with islam, in my opinion, is it's prohibition on free thought. Rational enquiry that conflicts religious dogma is criminalized...only a severe upheaval can change such a mindset.

I am sorry you do not have the right knowledge on this subject. What appears in the news mediais not the root cause of the problem.Infact all these countries have bias policies towards the muslim which a true muslim refuse to accept such double standards of Europe, America or elsewhere.Unfortunately the media has manipulated this as a problem with Islam. For your kind info Islam infact protects the people from other religions.People are more safe in Islamic countries than any where else.If any religeon which practices bigotry, it is yours .The funny cast system in your religeon, bride burning rituals, child marriage etc is the product of your closed mindset. It is time for you to change your closed mind set.

This is your reply and hope you have enough wisdom that you can diffrentiate between myth and fact. At last well done to Mussarraf who smoked the rats out.

Pakistan military personnel surrounding the Lal Masjid in Islamabad arrested Maulana Abdul Aziz, one of the two radical clerics of the mosque, when he tried to escape wearing a burqa, he was captured when he came out along with several burqa-clad women.
