Himanshu Thakker\'s article is biased as he fails to point out that Cauvery water is required only for two districts of Karnataka i.e. Mandya & Mysore whereas the Cauvery water is required for all the districts of Tamil Nadu . Whereas Karnataka have other rivers to fall back on, Tamil Nadu have none . I also fail to understand why the Cauvery Tribunal should look into matters of groundwater or efficient matters of utilising the water for which they are not equiped . They were only there to given an award on sharing of the river\'s water\'s .

who said only two districts? apart from mysore and mandya what about chamrajanagar & hassan. himanshu cameout with a well researched article. dont blame him. i know it hurts tamils very much. verdit is you get 419 tmc, to be released on 192. of this 192 30 to kerala, 7 to pondicherry. so left with 155. Tamil nadu won and lost water. Karnataka lost and won water.
Tamil nadu is a inefficient user of its water resources. they paid the price for playing politics with water.

The fact is - Truth hurts and thats what the Tamils are feeling after reading Himanshu's column ... Facts are always difficult to digest guys ... Anyway, Karnataka has always shared it's land, water ,air and jobs with other states and will continue to be big hearted, but that doesn't mean TN should try to take us for a ride, that won't be tolerated ..

Sinu,
Don't put comments as a fool, if you are not staying in b-lore then ask your brothers in b-lore, from where they get water. when Cauvery Tribunal formed, with in that they suppose to consider Ground water also, but they didn't.
