The Pak President seems to have been successfully persuaded by USA to be realistic. We must strengthen his hands and let the opportunity not pass. At this rate Musharraf will be hot for the next Noble for peace. We should not hesitate to extend concessions. The future the children of India and Pak is more important than our ego. What India and Pak together cannot do in this world ?

I agree. However caution is a must. Although Musharraf is trying to something beneficial to his own country, we cannot look beyond the bleak reality that Pakistan has a sizeable fundamentalist population and is the worlds biggest logistical base of sophisticated organized terror.
So although I support these confidence building measures with Pakistan, I would warn agains complacency, because that could deliver a fatal blow to us. I also say this because of our torrid history with complacency and ineptitude with sensitive diplomatic issues.
