I agree. However caution is a must. Although Musharraf is trying to something beneficial to his own country, we cannot look beyond the bleak reality that Pakistan has a sizeable fundamentalist population and is the worlds biggest logistical base of sophisticated organized terror. So although I support these confidence building measures with Pakistan, I would warn agains complacency, because that could deliver a fatal blow to us. I also say this because of our torrid history with complacency and ineptitude with sensitive diplomatic issues.
