Time and time people have mentioned that Sinhalese of Sri Lanka are dead against India. Only Tamils of Sri Lanka look to india for any help in the situation. Even India helped in destruction of Tamils during Rajiv times. Nowhere in the world have Hindus suffered so much as they have in Sri Lanka. All help sent to s of Tsunami was enjoyed by the Sinhalese where chaprassis bought big Mercedes cars. Organisation helping Tamils has been classified as helping terrorist. Scenes of Galle, Sinhalese stronghold was shown as having suffred but NOTHING about Tamils areas that faced the Tsunami Directly were shown. Prabhaharan is shown as a terrorist when he is fighting for rights of Tamils who have suffered under Sinhalese hotheads like Rajpakse. They talk about peace and are contunually destroying Tamils. Norway organised peace talks under which Sinhalese have rearmed and destroyed Tamils civilian areas. AND CURRENT CONGRESS GOVERNMENT IS HAPPY TO SEE ANNIHALATION OF TAMILS WHOSE HATRED FOR INDIA IS WELL KNOWN!

Well said. But for the LTTE and other similar groups, the Tamils there would not have enjoyed such rights as they do now.

The problem with Tamils is their inability and also unwillingness to learn others' language. If they had conceded the majority of the Sinhalese, then there would not have been much problem. Even in the state of Karnataka, the problem of the Tamils started from their refusal to speak in Kannada until about 25 years and that sparked the Kannada chavunism whose primary target is anything connected with Tamil.

Can you say how many non Tamils have bothered to learn Tamil language?
When Tamils go to Delhi, they are expected to speak Hindi only. When Delhi people come down to TN, even then Tamils are expected to speak in Hindi. What double standards!
As for the Tamil-Kannadiga rivalry, if you read South Indian History (not about Delhi history), you will find that mutually hostile relations existed between the Tamil and Kannadiga kingdoms even as early as 7th Century AD and has continued since then. Don't write without knowing the facts.

Dont poke finger?? When Tamil civilians have been killed by Sinhalese dominated army? Learn why Tamils asking for some freedom. Enjoy in secure India but let other Hindus suffer in places like Sri Lanka? The Buddhist monks have been vying for Tamil blood for a long time just because they are Hindus. If you are not concerned go and close yourself in a closed room. You will have no concern for anybody then.
