you people are showing/telling so much!!!! Can u tell one thing why till now states like Tamilnadu/kerala (in particular) where people do not speak hindi where as hindi is india's national language!!!!!!!!

Besides these self-respect things, we are running behind other stupid matters...

Is this not an insult to our national language??? We all are in this forum are speaking a lot about the religion...have you ever thought about these language differentiations besides the regional ones...

Dear Sahoo,
I am a mallu and i worked in Orissa for 2 years with Jindal Stainless Ltd at Jajpur Road.Do you think Orissa other than Bhubaneswar & Cuttack has any body who speaks 'Hindi'.while I went to any teastalls for tea i needed to say 'Mothe gotte chai Diyanthu' and not 'muche ek chai de do'.And I believe the former was Oriya and not Hindi.
In my state Kerala majority of the population are working abroad and so they are stressing in English. They dont have any bias for hindi. If you speak to them they(mallus) will atleast try to understand you and help you with your requirement but not looot you as you know where.....

truely speaking...if you see the coastal states (including some others) then u will find that all most all peoples (not in remote area) speaks hindi (managable)... I do not know how u encounter this.... I am saying I am from a village where people speak very fluent hindi...

I came across several peoples from Tamilnadu/Kerala, who do not speak hindi during my educational career. Here with me a mallu is leaving. For sure he speaks fluent english but can not speak a single word in hindi and he is doing PhD in kerala and came here for 6 months project..

Well Mallus understand hindi better than any of other south indian states ..since the modern malayalam language is based more on sanskrit ..where as the spoken one is more towards tamil

Hindi is the the mother tongue of our common origin. It unites us all .It should be spoken with pride. Not knowing hindi,by anyone ,south indians or anyone is indeed unfortunate for that person.

i have no grudge against anyone... this is my own experience...I am from orissa and in our schooling we are bound to learn 3 languages..Oriya/hindi/english and the medium is english after high school (excluding the central/english medium schools). Once I was in chennei and so hungry, I was just crying that day. Went to a shop and tried to convince them with hindi and english but they could not. Finally, i did not know what I eat that day and the price I gave whether that was appropriate or not... This shop is close to the railway station...

This is a true incident..

My friend is asking me whether we can make Tiger as pet or not...this is different from language..my dear friend..

I am saying that do not bring religion in to dirty politics..religion should not play any role in politics....Mr. Modi did good work in last 5 years and today he is getting his reward....this does not mean that we all hindu should vote him (at any cost) and kick-out the muslims or foreigners from india. Always try to accept the positive points from a human being..this is the reason why human is the most clever among all other leaving creatures....

Indians are rulling other coutries too!!!!! Can you bring them back....Indians are in abroad for their higher studies/settlements..can you bring them back..this should be the motto of our politicians...

Ours is a unity in diversity. Please stop trying to divide people based on language. We should be proud of our heritage. We all should respect each others culture and languages.

if u people can make this from the religion background....I am a pure hindu (brahmin) but i do not like this discriminating formula....

I am also saying the same thing that...Our country is very different from the rest world and we should respect all others irrespective of religion or language...My last message was a question not a statement!!!! try to understand..
