Yo must be joking! It is not Muslims that is responsible for the caste system. female foeticide etc. Dalits & tribals have been exploited and oppressed for the only crime that they have been born in the wrong caste. Once Hinduism gets rid of caste and get over religious petty divisions, we can be USA where a melting pot of culture & religion takes place.

even if hinduism sheds its discriminatory nature, do you think the dalits will come out of their revengeful, resent filled attitude to upper class hindus. Will they ever come out of gimme seat I am backward since 60 years of reservation era

a dalit person well placed in govt service told that he will not seek quota for his sons so that his sons will not be looked down by other caste hindus.if all dalit friends follow this,any such discremination will vanish.also only in villages such division is in existence and not in cities where no one has any idea about other person caste since no one ask about castes nowadays. feel villages and small towns are having this problems and not in cities.

Probably not immediately. But certainly in the long term. It is like the British attitude when they gave us independence. They thought we could not sustain as a nation but we did.
