whether RAM built it or L&T built it....we don't know... and no one knows the answer for this... but as far as HINDUS are concern, it's built by RAM with the help HANUMANS. it's a mythology.....
according to government, this Sethu Project would give more financial benefits...
Both (government & Hindus) are seems to be correct....

I dont think it will give large economic benifits over ecological disasters. The complete coral sea and pearl producing gulf will be disturbed upto such an extent that it will be diminished. Coral sea is a very delicate ecological system and whole world is trying to preserve it. Moreover natural currents will get disturbed resulting in changes in weather. Tsunami will have lethal effects on larger area of TN, Kerala.

You will laugh if I say there were aeroplanes during the period of rama. There are ancient texts on that. Vimanasatra an ancient text is available in The library of ISRO ( SHAR) also withh one of the Aeronautical profs at IIT Madras as per my knowledge. there may be some more copies also. Even it translation is availble. U Google for and then comment.
Did u read the previous interious of eminent people in rediff. They wer cleary stating that the material of the bridge is same from top to bottom, which states that it is made from same material, If it is anatural formation it takes thousands of yars to form a structure like that and it would be in layers and layers of different materials

Why? If you and your godfathers who believe that this structure was solely constructed by Mughal invader for his wife, why ASI is not ready to open the basement rooms of this structure? Why there are so much of opposition for a reconnaissance study of the issue?

What are you talking....learn from the west.Entire europe is keeping all assets...Still people live in a house which is more than 100 years old..They are very much keen to showcase their history...come to paris,london or rome...and see the live history of europe..Keeping Ramsetu does not mean they cannot build a new bridge!!!

You are a fool. Hanuman and his fellows were not monkeys as you say. They were human beings like us, but called Vanar because they lived in Van. It is not a mythology. Even if this sethu is not built by Ram and Hanuman, it does not make a difference, because it is enough that Hindus believe so. There can not be proof of everything. Can anybody prove that the hair kept at Hazrat Bal is of Muhammad?

very well said, we have to read Ramayana more practically as the holy book was written in sanskrit,not even today anyone get proper translation of the book.We were more educated than as at that time aeroplanes,(Pushpak vimman) Missiles(Agnibaan)and two many advanced technology available.
