fact

There is no point in talking about the old city because people from old city remained backward by choice. They oppose each and every action that any government takes to improve living conditions there. When Chandrababu lost elections every one was shocked that even after doing so much for Hyd how can he loose? Everyone blamed his loss to no growth in Telangana region. FOrget about Telangana he could not develop Barkas , Patthe Gatti and other such areas in old cities.
Muslims are quite well off in Hyderabad. They have no reason to become terrorists. The divide in old and new city can not be a justification for resorting to terrorism. Ideally speaking Muslims from Hyd should be a role model for muslims in other parts of India. If Muslims did not educate themselves and were left behind in IT revolution then it is nobody's fault. If we observe closely then in Hyderabad IT sector even hindus don't belong to Hyderabad / Secunderabad. I mean a significant population in growing sectors is from outside Hyderabad.Terrorists don't come from Mars. Intelligence agencies and Muslims should keep their ears and eyes open and if they find anyone condoning terrorism or sympathasing with Pakistan , Osama etc then they should be rounded.

I dont know when these ppl will stop this povery-as-the-reason fantasy. May be they are influenced by the old movies. Even the ppl involved in 9/11 and the more recent kafeel incident in UK are definitely not 'poor' and 'uneducated' people.

The actual reason is that all these people who are getting into the jihadi variety are actually trying to 'serve' their religion and consider it their duty. Now you can say that it is not mentioned like that in Islam and it is a peaceful religion but the fact is that there are many people (it will be said that this is a minority) who are preaching the so-called radical version and there are many more willing to believe that and become martyrs.

When the radical form is offered as the path to become a 'better' muslim (it may be a wrong interpretation of the holy book but it is a sad reality), you can see that these people are taking this path to become better muslims! and to serve their ummah!

secular apologists in the media will still continue their fantasies even though the facts point out otherwise. but the truth is clear and out there.

all this will stop only when this notion of superiority of one religion above all (well, every religion can feel that way but they dont have to kill infidels for that) and the extent people can go (or can be 'influenced') to establish that stops. It can happen only when they realize how foolish they were.

The govt meanwhile needs to strengthen its security setup, gather intelligence and guard itself.
