There is no point in talking about the old city because people from old city remained backward by choice. They oppose each and every action that any government takes to improve living conditions there. When Chandrababu lost elections every one was shocked that even after doing so much for Hyd how can he loose? Everyone blamed his loss to no growth in Telangana region. FOrget about Telangana he could not develop Barkas , Patthe Gatti and other such areas in old cities.
Muslims are quite well off in Hyderabad. They have no reason to become terrorists. The divide in old and new city can not be a justification for resorting to terrorism. Ideally speaking Muslims from Hyd should be a role model for muslims in other parts of India. If Muslims did not educate themselves and were left behind in IT revolution then it is nobody's fault. If we observe closely then in Hyderabad IT sector even hindus don't belong to Hyderabad / Secunderabad. I mean a significant population in growing sectors is from outside Hyderabad.Terrorists don't come from Mars. Intelligence agencies and Muslims should keep their ears and eyes open and if they find anyone condoning terrorism or sympathasing with Pakistan , Osama etc then they should be rounded.
