This deal is not about Congress, the Left or the BJP. This deal is not about communism or socialism or capitalism. This deal is not about personal ego or politics morons. This deal is about India's future. Her (India) ability to carry out nuclear tests and still be part of the NSG. Her (India) ability to secure her long term energy future without compromising on sovereign rights. Her (India) skill to get into a deal without compromising her future. All those moro..ns out there and equate China with evil, US as saviour and BJP as stupid opposition are grossly mistaken. This is not about china or US or any other states. It is pure and simply our ability to get into a deal in our terms. Dont blame the left, dont blame the BJP or communism or capitalism or socialism. It is purely a test for our netas and babus (the current ruling ones) to strike and get into a deal which doesn't compromise our ability to do a nuclear test as everyone might remember that we are not a signatory to CTBT and / or NPT. The deal is off if test is done and we agree to it, it tantamounts to signing the CTBT indirectly. All the 5 veto weilding nuclear countries have a one - sided law favoring them and India should become 6 with ability to test and still be part of the NSG PERIOD!.

No, mr moron (as you have yourself referred to all opposers of left). The deal is not an indirect CTBT/NPT. Even though we haven't signed NPT, we have abided by it (while signatories like Iran and N Korea haven't). SO much so for NPT. Now about CTBT. Signatories to CTBT (except the big nations) can be prosecuted under this treaty if they test nukes. However, since we haven't signed it, we cannot be prosecuted. This deal is not the same, moron. If we test anything, the deal may be off. Which means - that we will not get any more nuclear technology and material. But how does that make things different from what already is??? We already do NOT have the nuclear knowhow and supplies. Does that mean that we have signed CTBT? . Your view appears to be inspired by marxists who think anything to do with US is compromising on our capability to call the shots. Get out of this inferiority complex. We are dealing with the US and the US is dealing with us because WE are capable and not because we are dependent on them.

If we do not get this deal we ll spend another 10 years in the dark without electricity till we have the technology to generate power by using Thorium. We still do not have the final tech to generate power through these Fast Breeder Reactors. We should take this deal to generate power and speed up the research on fast breeder reactors so that as soon as we have the production capabalities using thorium based technology we can just stop importing uranium. But right now we need Uranium based tech so that we get power and we are nt left behind and go back to the dark ages... and yah this deal is only civilian so no need to worry abt military nuclear instalations. n we are free to test nuclear weapons. the Hyde Act is just a cosmetic effect by the US government to shut the mouths of the Non proliferation hawks in washington who are opposing this deal tooth n nail... The US understand it has no leverage to stop India from testing weapons and it dosnt want to risk billions of dollars of investment by imposing nay sanctions. remember 1998 aftre the tests the imposed sanctions but had to bite the dust and remove sanctions after realizing it was their industries that were suffering.. so be cool and just use this deal to the maximum and do not let the commies Headless Chickens take India back to the dark ages.
