Only 2 nations in the whole world are opposing this Indo US nuclear deal, China and Pakistan.... China has the Most Favored NAtion status with the US and opposes the same status for India. China has got a similar nuclear deal with the US bt opposes the deal with India... Jyoiti Basu of CPM protested against Indian defence againt chinese invasion of india in 1962 and was jailed by Nehru for anti India activities. Basu went on to become the CM of bengal. Commies never condemn Chinese claim of arunachal Pradesh whn the people themselves want top be part of India.. CPM opposes Indian nuclear progress bt has no problems with Chinas nuclear arming of pakistan whch are targeted towards India and supports iranian nuclear program. The communists oppose ndustrialiazation in India and went on killing 100's of poor farmers in Singur and Nandigram tryin to grab farmers fertile land for setting up industries. Commies are ruling bengal for more than 30 years now and have reduced bengal from being the finest to being the poorest.. Only big industry in commie ruled states bangal and kerala are trade unions and their number one product is strikes and bandh. Commies vociferously opposed introduction of computers by rajiv gandhi, commies cald computers as evil and against national interest. Commies neva condemned chinese invasion of India in 1962. Commies do not recognize aksai chin in kashmir as part of india. And yes the commies got a new name now "Headless Chickens and Spineless Morons".

India started non align movement and kept aneutral stan for last sixty years . just to make sure it's defnce is not compromised.
Why the same congress government is ready to compromise on our nuclear defence capabilities now.

So how does being able to buy nuclear technolgoy from Russia, USA, China, France and UK make us compromise on non alignment ? As of now all are forbidden to transfer any nuke tech to us, and this deal will allow them to do so. And who the F bothers about alignment or non alignment, the good of the nation is more important than any f*ing ideology.

Buddy I am also concerned about national defnec and please noet I do not support communits at all.
But my question is can we conduct a nucler test , if required in future. If yes what will be the consequence arising out of this treaty?

You have been telling us !! Now you have started asking.
Yes India can conduct nuclear tests. India has not declared in the treaty that it will not. Next, the consequences, under certain conditions, like a test in response to tests by some neighbouring countries, there are NO consequences. If India tests unilaterally & unprovoked, then the US will evaluate the conditions under which the tests were conducted & can recall the equipments supplied to US for nuclear energy. But......two things here. First India has gathered all the data required from previous tests & does not see the need for another test. ( No developed country has conducted a test in the last decade) and even if we do, unilaterally, US will find it uneconomical to recall the equipments. So that scenario too is unlikely.

The consequence of testing is that the deal is off !- So that should please opponents of the deal ! so how does testing and calling of the deal compromise our security ? (specially when you claim that the deal violates our security)

I know non alignment is a thing of past but we should sompromise on our defence capabilities at any cost.

Where are we compromising, we have our nuke bombs and can make more. the moratorium on testing was done by the BJP govt which was done before this deal. so pls - i am still waiting for you to call the BJP headless chickens, or are your views influnced by your political leanings, the good of the nation be damned ?

I dont say the deal is not good but by accept limitation on nuclear defence , when we have enemy neighbours like China and Pakistan?
RE:RE:Commie traitors

So you still have your bombs, and ability to make more of them, the deal allows for military reactos- we have kept them seperate and out of the deal. Please do get the facts before commenting

But Uday Bhaskar & Anil Kakodkar ( Chairman Indian Atomic Energy commission) say there is no limitation on nuclear defence !!! Are they lying?

Will US allow us to test with the fuel produced by designated "military" reactors that are outside the ambit of this deal?
RE:RE:Commie traitors

first things first, the moratarium on testing was not done in this deal, but a commitment made by the BJP. So the question is not relevant to opposing the deal, how do we test without the deal when the govt under BJP made a commitment not to test ? And second even if we do test, the deal gets revoked, so that should not impact security at all as you are calling the deal anti national security

Hun, From where did you get this conclusion that our defence capabilities are being compromised by this deal.We donot have enough uranium to run our existing nuclear reactors for more then 10 years now. And you can not make bombs without uranium. The provision in the deal is very clear; India will have two seperate establishments- one for energy and one for nuclear defence. The energy establishments will be under supervision from atomic agency while the defence will not be under any supervision. If we get the uranium for our energy need from outside, we will be saving our own uranium for making bombs. If we not go for deal, whatever small amount of uranium we have will go to running the existing reactors. and in the changing scenario of world politics, after recognising India as an atomic capable country, the next step of USA will be to denuclearise Pakistan like they did it with north korea and Iran. They have already declared Pakistan as most dangerous state and compelled them to put their most renowned scientist Dr. Kadir under house arrest. The China and Pakistan know it well, so making all efforts to nuke this deal. They are right on their part, but are our commis are right in their decision to break the deal? They should think for a nuclear capable India, and this apply to BJP also.
