Does UPA actually mean United PA..!!

This goverment is a mixture of communist and capitalist.... leftists are always perceived to be against the economic development of the country and I think the same is done over here.. I think the issue over here is not the economic development and rather it is about India's stand on continuing the nuclear advancements..US has said that they will review the complete deal if India goes for a nuclear test and might forfeit the deal if they find our intentions unjustified.. tell me who are they to decide upon what is good or bad for our country... I totally agree with what Left has raised here.... as a democracy we have all the powers to decide our stand on nuclear warfare... whereas what BJP is doing is nothing but trying to get some attention by making some noise out there.. everyone knows that party is made up some old age people who should have retired long back than being as country's leaders .. a country which is made up most of youngsters...

As of now, there is no deal. What happens now if we conduct a nuclear test? The US will dictate other powers and the countries belonging to NSG, to impose sanctions. We may shout like you, "who are they". Fact remains, they are America, the only super power of todays world. But why they want to give us civil nuclear freedom? What is their interest? Are they not making our arms strong and give us more capability? Their interest is our friendship, which has become very important due to China's growing might. If the deal goes through and after that we conduct a test, US will surely make a lot of noise, but won't decide to loose India's friendship. This friendship will surely have some restrictions in deciding our independant foreign policy. But if you want to get something, you have to give something. There is no free lunch in this world. When America went full blast to revive China's economy, China also had to pay some price. But after attaining the status of today, China cannot be dictated. Same is going to happen to us as well.
Regards
