@ Ram Madhav, Can you please let us know how the Nuclear Deal is going to make India better? In electricity, as far as green peace statistics shows, even if we build one plant every month (which is not even the average now considering the whole world) we will be far short of producing the required amount to generate substantial electricity from Nuclear power. In our current rate of construction, we may get nearly 7 percent of electricity from Nuclear Power in 2020. So, Mr, other than shouting slogans against left what actual data did you give in this article? It's true if you haven't shouted against left, Rediff moderators wouldn't publish your article. Tell me from your heart (and experience) would you believe US ever? Not a single country could trust US, so why India? And about Nuclear Test, even if we don%u2019t need that, but would you love to be Governed/ decided by US President? At least I wouldn%u2019t love. By the, surprisingly, the people who work or worked in nuclear related fields, they are not happy with this deal with US. Can you explain why?

Mr Santanu Ray, (my dear Commie) please read the 123 Agreement on Indian Government's website(no joking, its public) and tell me that how can India go ahead with atleast that 7% generation(or whatever bull you are quoting) if India doesnt have the supply to fuel. What do you think, India is going great guns with its nuke department? Go refer your biased statistics, India doesnt even have supply of U-235 to sustain its nuclear plants. Whatever is going on is from its own mines in Bihar and parts of Chattisgarh. Cmon Mr. Santanu nobody is using U-235 in a single stage reactor. What we are talking about is hybrid reactors and we require Th and Pu for that. Who is gonna give that??And who trusts US ....nobody does..but thats diplomacy...you got to see whats tradeoff(which your own commie guys know so well to do in face of adversity), you got to have a basic minimum thing to get going to keep the basic minimum energy security. By the way, I dont believe that statistics. Governed by US, goddamn the rhetoric, asif we are not influenced by US now....nobody lives in an island. Just tell me, what will US do??? And finally nuke tests(hahahah..blimey), how many nuke tests US is doing??? UK??? okay what about our dear old China? Mr Santanu Roy, wake up...nobody does field tests of nuke today? Its too easily detectable by any Sputnik-era(oops Communism again) sattelite. Why US would like to let China know how great is it going in nuke field? these days there is something called lab tests
