With existing technology there is no need to test any more nuclear weapons and convert our land into waste lands. After a nuclear test the test site cannot be used for the next so many thousand of years due to radiation. These days all nuclear research and testing can be simulated on super computers and that is what all developed countries do. We too have this capability. These days nuclear testing is only for armatures to flex their muscles may be to scare their neighbors. We have already done these 2 times, and all have seen our muscle.

We need to test higher capacity nuclear weapons to overtake China.
In fact US should supply India with nuclear weapons as a deterrent to China
