Hi Anusha Don't u think what Saubashya said is very true.I am very much an indian serving the mother land paying my taxes and closely following all the developments in India.Do u have an answer for the fortunes the polticians make and live on the moment they are elected.

Dear Anusha, I fully empathize with Sur. Nobody wants to run away from one's motherland, unless they see no hope in the system. Most Indians who have settled abroad didn't do so to serve their western masters. It was the only option left to them after they experienced rampant corruption in the education, justice and bureaucratic systems of India. The recent hike in reservation hasn't made matters any easy. People like you who wanted to emigrate but couldn't won't realize the patriotism that most of the diaspora carry in our every day life. Jai Hind!!

If so Mr Kashyap then why people earning 50,000 and more per month still looking for H1B and very much eager to go abroad.
Specially in current scenario IITian and IIM guys has offer of package more then 18 lacs per anum in India but still they prefer their western master intead of motherland.

"It was the only option left to them after they experienced rampant corruption in the education, justice and bureaucratic systems of India". This I doubt, most of them are going abroad just under the delusion that GRASS IS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE or herd mentality looking at some senior of theirs from the college going there. But my interaction with many of them abroad tells me that 70-80% of them face difficulties in coping up but stay put to make dollars! No thought of corruption here, just dollars, I bet the same NRIs will come back tomorrow, if the private sector will stary paying high, even if we have the same corruption in India.

I do not agree with you that students or otherwise seeking green patches in Ameria are not those students or people deprived of the opportunity in India. Some parents take credit to say that my daughter or son is pursuing his studies in USA. It is their wisdom. You should not blame the politicians. Their children are also studying abroad but at the same time boosting and supporting regional languages, rather than Inglish. Whatever happend is a tragic one and my heart goes to the affected families not only in India but also other countries. I pray almighty to give them enough courage and strength at this hour of crisis in their life.

ATTITUDE - thats is the problem. these type of people do not even bother to take care of their own parents once they start earning.

you are stating the facts? name a single one... you just joined the bandwagon of some foolish NRIs spoiling all other good work being done by a few NRIs

All the messages posted above are facts. And this is a FACT. You call NRI's as foolish because they invest in India? Or because the job market is opening up because of these investments? Or because the forex reserve is increasing which is increasing the ruppee value? Talking about taking care of parents, people here always do that kyun ki dil hain hindusthani. Did you ever see the atmosphere when India plays a cricket match? You are talking as if you are only one who is patriotic. Also do you follow news papers? There is infux of NRI's to India to serve the country lately. By the way, is there a single instance, which shows that you have given back something to the country. I believe NO kyun ki barking dogs never bite.

haha big joke...NRIs coming back to India to serve the Country...bullshit...they are unable to survive there...and hence returning...(or being kicked out)

I agree with this. NRIs dont come back to serve India rather they have personal problems which is not conducive for their stay in US

Please at least bother to read news paper. dont fire bullets in air without knowing facts. U know in US, IT companies want infinite H1B's for Indians. Now u decide who is kicked out and who wants to keep whom?
RE:RE:[object]

is that so...you mean to say that these great souls who are returning to India for serving the country now...JOKE OF THE DAY. there you are...now US wants infinite H1B's and not India wants..so there is a brain drain in US not in India..

Hey Jo, where was their investment before 1991 (liberalisation policy) or you will say that there was no Indian in abroad at that time.
They are now investing in India NOT just for the shake of development of India or Indian people instead for their own profits.
We Indian back at home made (build) this country on such level that not only NRI even others are too oppressed/eagered to look towards it.

Anusha, I am not sure why do you presume that only NRIs leave their parents in Orphanage....and don't take care of their parents....This is absolutely stupid on your part....They are more parents in india who are not with their son/daughter residing in India...Its all Individualism....ok?
