Right law ay wrong place
by M.Akhtar on Nov 03, 2006 06:45 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

By this DV law we are inching more towards western family norm. This law which has been borrowed heavily from US and English law admits live-in partner and reduces the sacred relation ship of family to 'domestic relationship' which we share even with our pet dogs and cat. This law is good for western homes where the women change their husbands like their dress every now and then.In India we are married for life and here both husband and the wife sacrifice their freedom to build a better home. After going to court and this law will lead us to more broken homes more battered life , more orphan houses and bitter and battered family life. The law has been conceived by the so called socialite of Delhi and Mumbai who believe in Club and Pub culture sans Indian ethos and sacrifice.Oh God they do not know what they are doing! God bless this country!!

Hey PARAM..where are you heading on to...what bullshit abotu mean not being sensitive to women did you read it from...do you know 498A one the the most cruel laws ever to be passed(Dv act beat it btw), was passed by our parliament when 95% members were men.
Even today when our parliament has more than 90% male memebers, there was no difficulty passing this law in the brutal form it is.
If you have ever gone to our courts(where supposedly justice is delivered) most of our family courts are called women courts behind the curtains...all lawyers agree to it...all judges know for themsleves how partial are they to women...
For you to crib with your foolish logicless statements,
just tells me how shallow you are and how mean can you(or could have) been to your your husband(prospective and family. May God save the family who dares admit you in their house.
