Dear Resident doctors across India, please pledge for an united front to take on the selective divide and vitimise policy of these authorities. It's s shame that when we are heading for a landmark Nuclear deal to make energy effcient country which would mean better utilisation of resources,at the other end the energy of the doctors hard work gets un-noticed and unduly exploited by these authorities.
It is a pity that nothing concrete has been done to permanently rectify such a situation.
In UK,we have EWTD-European working time directive and a ZERO tolerance policy of any act of abuse to any staff member not only doctors!Hence they are more developed than us indians in that sense.Aterall it's the thought that is developed or to be develpoed, isn't it?So are the ministers listening and do something POSITIVE rather thn play the old games of Threat,De-bar,etc,when you know what work the resident doctors do is UNMATCHED and can hardly ever be met by other doctors.Unfortunately they are trying to create a rift between doctors themselves and this is politics indeed!!
SHAME SHAME to all who are mutely watching these happening.Come lets make our nation better.
Shame shame, doctors!

What a shame!!! Resident doctors show their protest against the government by victimising people who are already victims! Come on... you are not mill workers who are going to cause financial loss to the "owner" by going on strike! You are "doctors" who are (treated) next to God (not withstanding abuse by a very few insensible public - again, is this entirely the fault of the public, are the doctors not to blame AT ALL?). You are life-savers! And each day on strike kills/maims/traumatises poor public who are dependent on YOU for "healing". Unfortunately, the "netas" and "babus" who run our governments (irrespective of the party is at power) are insensitive and insensible morons who think the system exists to serve themselves rather than the public. How, then, does one expect that a strike which does not directly affect them will make the agitators voice heard? Sorry, it only serves to discredit and defame the agitators, because the lives of common public (who have no say in the goverment policies) are at peril! The medical profession is touted as the noblest of all (and it sure is!) and it deserves only the noblest souls who see SERVICE before everything. What do see here? Shame!!!
