Shame shame, doctors!
by Ramesh on Mar 07, 2006 05:34 PM

What a shame!!!
Resident doctors show their protest against the government by victimising people who are already victims! Come on... you are not mill workers who are going to cause financial loss to the "owner" by going on strike! You are "doctors" who are (treated) next to God (not withstanding abuse by a very few insensible public - again, is this entirely the fault of the public, are the doctors not to blame AT ALL?). You are life-savers! And each day on strike kills/maims/traumatises poor public who are dependent on YOU for "healing". Unfortunately, the "netas" and "babus" who run our governments (irrespective of the party is at power) are insensitive and insensible morons who think the system exists to serve themselves rather than the public. How, then, does one expect that a strike which does not directly affect them will make the agitators voice heard? Sorry, it only serves to discredit and defame the agitators, because the lives of common public (who have no say in the goverment policies) are at peril! The medical profession is touted as the noblest of all (and it sure is!) and it deserves only the noblest souls who see SERVICE before everything. What do see here? Shame!!!
