Murder cases in India
by Govinda on Jun 23, 2008 09:11 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

In India if owning Revolvers is made easy for common man - then Murders will be at a faster rate. One can guess - what Pravin did for Pramod very easily!
In USA owning Revolver is easy but rate of murder is low - how come?
Can any body throw light on this?

The authors are not talking about the "rate" of murders. They are giving just the figures.

eg 500 is bigger then 50 but 500 of 50,000 is 1% but 50 out of 500 is 10%.

So if you compare India's figures and consider the population of the country then we will find that it has the lowest percentage where as USA has a very high one.
