do we not have any responsibility for India?
by Sujoy Chakravarty on Jul 27, 2008 10:47 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Why we always blame politician's for all the acts. Politicians are just the mirror image of the society. If the politicians are corrupt, murderer, selfish and don't care about the country that means there is some problem in our country. Because the politicians are chosen by the people of our country and there character reflects the character of the majority of the people of our country. Instead of blaming politicians, I suggest everybody to just ask a question to your innerself, what we do for our country? are we care about our country? is it not true that most of the people of our country is busy in making money by hook and crook and they don't think beyound there family. Is it not true that most of the people destroys the government property or misuse it. Is it not true that even we know that mr. X is corrupt but we don't protest? if we see something wrong but it does not affect you, we just turn our eyes. I mean, the problem is in our socieity and it reflects in the character of the politicians. It's our country and it's our duty to protect it. And if eveery citizen of India takes the reponsibility of protecting this country and opposing all the acts which is not good for our country and most of all if we do our duty's towards our country sincerely then I think there will be no problem at all in this country. Then good people will only come to politica and there will be no place for bad peoples. So, don't blame others, instead do your duty towards your country with full ho

When I say, the citizen of India I mean every citizen be it Bengali or marathi or else. I only identify myself as an Indian. I am only trying to say that it's very easy to blame others but it's very difficult to accept that I am also responsible for all this situation. It does not make much difference if we choose CPIM, Congress, BJP or any independent MP or MLA. The point is we p[eople think that once we chose an MP or MLA then our duty towards the country is over . Now, it's the duty of that MP or MLA to run the country whatever way he wantsand we get busy in money making and family responsibilities. But that's not true. He is only our representative and represent our voice in parliament. we should always protest if he is doing something wrong. But if we don't protest then we are indirectly supporting him. That is the actual problem of our society. Most of the people of India don't protest if somebody is doing something till it does not affect that person individualy. we should get out of this divided individual mentality and work for our country collectively as an Indian and only Indian no other identity.

Sujoy chakravarty, please stop writing these things, why dont u dress, go out and make protests? why dont u take your ideals into life, on the roads?
you never rise to those situations because it might cost you hundreds of rupees. or a hit on your head. So, u r just like other indians...

its very convenient writing pages of essays sitting in a AC room on the computer, at office or home.

Dear Manish,
That's why I don't blame the politicians for what is happening in India and also don't like people who only blames other and do nothing to improve the situation of the country. I say, we are responsible (including me)for whatever is happening in India and I think everyody should accept it instead of blaming others. I do whatever I can for my country sincerely and honestly and I expect if everybody do his duties towards his country honestly and sincerely then all these problems will automatically get solved. Everybody has to be get united as an Indian (not hindu, muslim, SC, ST, OBC, etc.). Till we are divided with our narrow minds the situation will not improve and indirectly we are helping terrorists to create chaos in the country. You will know the effect of famous "divide and rule" policy of British from history books.

rightly said sujoy.....
people fail to do excise their duties towards the society....
i want to ask one question to all who blame the govt. [be it of congress or bjp ]
"whether in their life time they haven't bribed any govt official to finish off their business??? or they haven't broken any rules???"
first its us who start the derailing process and this encourages politician and terrorists to derail everything....
