This is a foolish idea.First government should improve the standard of education.Our education system is around 20 years back.Do we want all students to become an IT professional.We don't have even good building for running schools.Students from the rural area don't have electricity in their home what they will do with the laptop.I think giving a laptop in the early stages of their carrier development will kill their creativity.

boby you surely a person who has never used a laptop. You are saying that if a laptop is given to every student then he will be IT professional? What a foolish thinking! Computer is used in all the industries! How does Laptop kill creative thinking? I Dont understand your statement!

Have you thought about checking an idea out with who may be making it happen? If you watch these kids learning with laptop and how good they become in vaious subjects they address, you will be simply amazed.. OLPC India is doing a great job..
