The service will of AI or IA will only improve after it is sold to some pvt player. We should get rid of unions in public sectors to provide quality service to its customers(general public). The left parties can go and live in China & Cuba if they dont like to live in India. I have travelled with most of the airliners in India and Abroad. The ground staff and air-hostesses in all airlines treat you with respect and courtest but not Indian. They feel as though they r doing us a favour by providing us a boarding pass. India will improve only if all the Public sector units are privatized. Govt hospitals and education should be run by autonomous bodies without govt institutions. Except Army and Police nothing else should be controlled by govt. Only then there can be accountability. I am talking of banks, Income Tax, Port Trust, EB, commerical tax and RTO. Out of 239 public sectors 92 are making huge losses. Dont waste tax payers money on feeding govt employees who are arrogant and refuse to work. Build infrastructure and improve education & healthcare. Let everyone be accountable for the work they do. Only then can be confidently compete with the rest of the world. The red flag should be burnt and comrades deported to Cuba, N.Korea and China.

I agree to all ur points except the one. Not all airlines staff treat u with respect. There are a few worser than AI. I flew in T@ai air@^ys a few months back and had a stop over in bangkok. The cabin crew themselves were showing faces when I asked for a second glass of juice for my kid. Next at the bangkok airport (they dont check in till your destination, need to get a second boarding pass at the stop over place which in my case was bangkok) I had a transit time of four hours and I was standing in the 'Q' for a boarding pass. THere was chaos everywhere and the lady at the counter cud speak only little english and she was shouting at the passengers. Suddenly somebody in the next counter showed a placard showing a flight number and everyone went there. The people already standing in the 'Q' were pushed back. Then when my turn came the lady got my tickets and passport. She went wild and said "ur flight is only after 2 hours, y do u come now itself". I said that i had two small kids and asked her to issue me a boarding pass. She was trying to say something which I cud not understand and finally she came out of the counter and took my bag and threw it aside and started shouting at the top of her voice. Every passenger there was tortured and it was similar to an Airdeccan ticket counter flooded with ppl and very less ground staff who were very arrogant and rude.I heard the same from a few other ppl also who travelled in the same airways.

Nothing else can explain your blind hatred for public sector. Whom are you fooling? It was only after MTNL made incoming calls free, did other private mobile companies (Airtel, Hutch etc) stop charging Rs 4/- per minute of incoming.
People are not fools to be taken in by your glib net-savvy talk. It will only appeal to a minuscule section of Indians.
