Crusing US? You must be kidding!
Per capita income of India is just a small fraction of US and other developed countries. We still have people living on our streets and dying of starvation. Long way to go before catching up with medium income countries like Malaysia, China etc.!

With any sort of development, we are not going to crush anyone by becomeing outsourcing masters. America is super power because they are the most innovative people around. We still are doing coolie works.

Mig 21 i think you are flying too much come down don't think even about crushing US(first we need to get out of poverty and make per capita income up and there are lot of more other things to get done)

Well said. We are only cybercoolies with little innovation, original research or technology. USA is "inventing tomorrow" in Nandan Nilekani's words and we are not able to even digest things invennted daybeforeyesterday. First we have to crush small countries like Malaysia and Korea before we can think of crushing USA with our substandard goods and fake drugs. But we are nowhere near Malaysia and Korea.

Appreciation of Rupee doesn't mean crushing US or even crushing US economy. It is as vague as looking at company A's share price (say 100 rs) and company B's share price (sa 50 rs) and say company A has better prospects than company B. There are several factors for becoming a strong economy. Sooner or later Indian companies will need to invest considerably in research and in newer technologies to compete globally. People need to be trained for becoming more innovative rather than to be trained for what a calculator can do otherwise.
