Yes, If fake resumes are identified, then i think almost 25% of people will go out for sure.. and i strongly recommend to clean up this fake resumes from the database.. it is a real virus..stopping all the genuine people from getting the oppurtunity.. There should be some transparency in doing the background check so that , people will be scared to show up with fake resumes and salary certificates to get new opportunity and better pay packets..
somebody should take the call..but the companies themselves overlook many?things while doing background verificated worrying about losing the employees to others, which will increase their attrition unnecessarily.. as i said before.. clean up excersie shd be there.. all the time we are shouting to remove all the corrupt politicians.. but why there is no voice raised against fake resumes and salary certificates.. short cuts will definitely leads to downfall..

As a fresher into a job right after the college, i felt it was unfair to recruit and employ people with fake resumes. So many years down the lane (having involved myself in part..of the recruiting process), i now see that there are some genuinely good candidates with the so called fake resumes. Yes, its truly easy to 'sniff' out the fake resumes and the false experience the candidates put up. But some of the so-called fake candidates did fare very well during the technical round of the recruiting process. I know we feel it unfair when a candidate with a fake resume gets a job and a genuine candidate doesnt! But,i feel that the need of the hour is the guy who DOES things...rather than who says he CAN DO things.

Fake or original doesnot matter!!!if a guy cant really perform he wud be thrown out!!!! possibly u dont understand the reason for the attrition. Its not at all related to fake resumes. Are u really genuine guy????ur father doesnot take bribe???havenot u told a single lie in ur life???boss think...........do u think that companies are not aware of the fake resumes..its takes 30 secs to find out a fake resume!!!!anyone can perfome well if a chance is given...i dont understand how u are comparing them to corrupted politicians in india....corruption effects the entire society...fake resumes..no side effects!!!

do u think the companies are themselves very genuine?? I have seen sometimes companies bill for 20 people when 5,6 people are actually doing the job in reality. Also note that there are gray shades in everybodys life.. All sinners have a future and all saints have a past..

take up the job boss. I'm sure you would also have told some interesting things in the hr round about your strengths and weaknesses and several other things related to your achievements. Only the difference between the fake guy and you is, they are giving the printed material and u r not. So before suggesting the industry to carry out the CLEANUP, first u resign and get a job without telling the false. Do not lie about your current responsibilities, the technologies u worked and most importantly your strengths and weaknesses also on the achievements. After getting a job based on the TRUE answers, you can start CLEANUP process.
