Dear Friends, Please be aware that these surveys are actually misleading many students and their parents to shell out huge sums of money for no good return. There are actually many prestigious institutions of higher learning (private and public) in our country that dont even participate in such ratings and I am sure that the day they participate in these ratings they will leave some of the top rated institutions behind. Speak to Alumnus of some good colleges and Recruiters of some big companies before making a decision as to what is good for you. Don't go by what others say...network, talk and mke your own informed decision.

I understand sam, that paying to get into the IIMs and XLs of the world is a different story. but there are instts like the great IIPM that figure in the list who claim to be supoerior to IIMs and manage to creep into these surveys. By the way ISB and TISS do not even participate in such surveys. I am a Human Resource Manager working for IBM India Pvt Ltd for the past 3 years. My experience has been different from yours. IIM and XLs are diff story

Your message has no base Mr..... Are you saying India has Management institutes better than IIM... Please name a few if you can.... Also have you ever done costing for management education... My friend you have no idea about Management education and hence please do not say anything without having concrete knowledge about the subject. To all Parents: If you son/daughter get admission in IIM's or IMT or ISB or MN Jain or XLRI or SCHMS, plz ensure that he/she joins in that college... :-)

it seems you are being paid by IIMs to blow the trumpet on their behalf. Try to accept the truth. Having an IIM degree does not mean the passed out grad is extremely brilliant, others are fools. Do not say that.
