I think there was a law passed by rbi a few months back which made sending hooligans to peoples houses illegal. If such a thing has happened recently you can approach authorities for redressal irrespective of whether the dues were genuine or not

Are you sure that you haven't signed for auto debit? If you have an account with the bank and you don't make clear instructions, they will auto credit minimum amout due. THat's the small print. When agent came home and asked me to sign allover the form I asked him to leave it and collect it next day. He finally did did that reluctantly and even grumbled that I hadn't opted for any bill pay which they said is mandatory. THis way I had enough time to go through the fine prints overnight and decide what I wanted to do. I have not faced any problems so far.

hi Giri kumar It was wise on your part to have done that. But if you see the way a credit card is sold it seems they are obliged to us. we usually dont go through the fine print. Even after goin throug the fine print you never know the services a bank will offer interms of good customer care and people who will abide by the RBI guidelines of how a credit card business should be run. Its a huge banking system and you have to do wat they say in case of a dispute of pay a heavy penalty as there is nothing in control of you. here i am talking of exceptional cases where somebody defaults on a payment due to fault of the bank.
