Hi Arvind,
Please dont speak negative and before saying something about BPO companies please clear your facts.
Your comments are totally stupid....
Go an at least try to clear a one round of interview over there...then you will understand that people working over there are uneducated or the smart ones.

Mr Arvind, Let me clarify, neither do i work for a BPO, nor an executive in an IT/ITES firm.... but its utterly embarassing to hear ur comments...just to give u a few facts...for entry level positions minimum criteria is 10+2 in voice based processes, however as u move up the criteria goes on increasing...what you have mentioned as "otherwise being unemployed all their lives" this process outsouring is attracting human resources from the most elitist b schools in india, and candidates with professional qualifications like CA, CFA an well as LLB's and if after all these credentials you still think they wudve otherwise been unemployed...mebe u should re think... and even if you hypothetically speak that mebe they wudve been "JOBLESS".its apalling that instead of commending the fact that as society v have been able to provide livelihood to n number of individuals...you wud b indulging in such a regressive thought process..and if this still dosent clariify my point..please log on www,bseindia.com is Bombay stock exchange check out the IT companies results...then go to their web site download annual reports and c how heavily dependent they r on human resources. thats all for n

Hi, The mail headlining "Always BPO" is the perfect example of little kowledge is dangerous thing. BPO has brought innumerable possibilities to many youngsters to sustain, survive and grow with some world class companies. People who belive in fact and statistics will tell that. Let accept it. Regarding the article, I belive, we need to be exposed to understand the realities of this article. It is wonderfully picturised.

I fully agree with you. These people always write articles about BPO, sales and Marketting or some MBA. There are many other areas which can be covered. I am a software engineer and my husband is a Doctor. But I never see any article for these professions. Not a single for teachers. Perhaps they do not consider these as career options or professions ? These profession also have there rules, their ups , downs, the problems and good moments. Perhaps the rediff team is not aware of the demands of these professions. Whay always BPO ?

Dear Mr Singh,
Your opinion on BPOs is extremely humiliating and biased. It is not hard to imagine that your encounter with a call centre has not been first-hand. I have worked in a call centre and value the fact that the pedagogy received there, has given me the capability and confidence to "take on the world". I would appreciate if before passing such demeaning comments on a profession or person, you take an impartial and practical view.
