Type 2 Diabetics
by RAMAKRISHNAN.N.S. on Jun 21, 2005 01:18 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

I was a diabetic patient from 1997(May) to 2004(April). I started taking only(all types) fruits and also sugarcane juice regularly. After a week or so my sugar level in the blood came down to below normal. Now I take only fruits for my breakfast and dinner. I take normal lunch. I am very happy to mention here that I have been able to control this dreaded disease successfully.

Hi,

Myself is same case like you. What I will suggest
1. Consult a good endorinologist
2. Do not hesitate to take medicine
3. Exercise regularly
4. Avoid high tension work
5. Maintain diet as much as you can. It is very easy to say drink karela juice but tough to do it.
6. Don't take tensions of small things
7. Do not consult with unqualified persons for medication. They may confuse you.
8. Have a glucometer and maintain regular record of blood sugar
9. Check lipids once in three months
10. Check ECG,stress test, fundoscopy once in year though they are expensive
11. Say firm No to sweets and reduce salt intake
12. Make sure your BP is in control
13. Keep in mind there is no cure for diabetic and you have to live and die with it.
14. Enjoy your life. It is just not eating spicy and sweet food.
I hope this will help.
cheers

mpd
