Drugged by Cricket

Obviously everything is a business these days. All games are pure business,
selling entertainment for price and marketing it smartly by creating hype
and euphoria for future gains.

We live in such a world, every one has to think about their own business and
be shrewd enough to know when to avoid the salesman, when it is over priced.
Every one has a choice. Ofcourse not everyone can understand this may be no educated
enough, or drugged by BCCI/Cricket. :) Anyway, that is the way of life.

BCCI is a shrewd business, that is where the other games like Hockey, Chess, batminton,
Billiard, etc are lacking even though we have pretty good results in these. They
are not marketing their product as well. They should learn something out of BCCI
and capture the moment, create some drama and hype when they achieve victories.
There is no point in rueing how well cricket is received.

Yes, I did enjoyed the game too a lot, infact I went late to office. Yet I too feel
that it is an overdose, probably Gandhi Ji would not have been received that well with
such a hype these days. It does have positive effects of people coming together, but
again there should be a balance. May be BCCI&Media are are great salesman and cricket is
a great product. They have the right to sell their product with full aggression, we cannot
cotrol on how they do business. People have their own choice to keep it balanced.

The achivement is definetly a great one. Great commitment, Never giveup attitude,
Self

The achivement is definetly a great one. Great commitment, Never giveup attitude,
Self belief, Team work. May be people could take some inspiration out of this and
apply in their daily lives, that which is in their control. But leave it at that,
it is not your life, it is not your acheivement. People take this to heart and get
deeply disturbed when it goes the other way.

Its just a game.. WIN or LOOSE. Enjot it while you can and move on.
Easy saying than implementing with the environment around, isn't it. ;)
