Congrats to dhoni and Indian team and to all Indians fans and well wishers this has been a really gr8 moment
I HAVE READ A LOT OF VIEWS AND THERE SEEMS SOME PEOPLE WANT TRIOS(SACHIN, GANGULY AND DRAVID) TO RETIRE AND SOME DONT
Indians are very emotional s when the team wins there are cheers and when there are losses there criticisms disregarding how well or bad we played
It true that that the trios have given there heart and soul and also in this process made a lot of money which is not bad thing
so question arises don't trios want keep on their performance and make scores for getting more endorsements WELL I WOULD PLAY BETTER TO MAKE MORE AND WHO WON´T
So the questions trios wont perform doesn't make any practical sense taking the above argument in to consideration
But seeing the spirit of TEAM INDIA i think trios should be rested for few series and lets see how this YOUNG INDIAN TEAM PERFORM regardless of whether they win or lose.
I am too old to remember my childhood but i certainly remember that i had crawl first before i could walk
Yes we might or might not lose but let see how this YOUNG India perform WITHOUT THE EXPERIENCE POLITICS OR RELIANCE (whatever you prefer to call it) of trios

I agree that youngsters should be given chance. Not long back we replaced Ganguly by youngsters like Raina and Kaif and we know what happened. People saw politics in that..there were demonstrations everywhere by partisan crowd to bring Ganguly back in the team. And interestingly, Indian team was doing pretty well without Ganguly. They had shown a lot of improvement in fielding..they won 17 matches chasing total. It is very clear that in shorter version of game you need fitter (not necessarily younger) players. Dravid had repeatedly said that we need athletic legs in ODI matches. He was helpless since selectors preferred experienced players over upcoming players. Dravid opted out of 20-20 to give chances to younger players. Ganguly has already told that he missed playing in 20-20 and would like to play 20-20 matches in the future.

you expect logical comments to your post whereas what you have suggested is totally illogical.Agreed this team has played wonderfully under Dhoni's captaincy but 50 overs and test cricket is a totally different cup of tea, u need mix of experience and youth now since the captaincy is not there with any senior (read indian triumvariate)i think they can all concentrate on their game better plus youngsters like utthappa,gambhir,rohit sharma can be played on rotation basis giving the seniors rest.This way when they retire the people replacing them permanently will have enough experience.I still believe rahul,sachin,Laxman and ganguly have 2-3 years of good cricket left in them.

New yorker ..u sound more like a frustrated fanatic than an ardent cricket fan..how cud u come up with such ridiculous comparisons despite south producing such cricketing greats as azhar,dravid,kumble,srikanth...and more evr lemme remind u mumbai is nevr a part of north india ..if u jus consider the exact north indian states then u will get a bunch of morons from UP & bihar....so plz dont come up with such lousy discriminations.

The team India have won the World T20, due to only one thing - TEAM WORK. All the players understood their responsibilities. Moreover, not much expectations on them since the beginning of the game. Dhoni had really lead the team well. In my opinion, without including the Trios, the new team cannot win against Australians. You need experience for long run, moreover they are going to play one day internationals and Test matches. If Trios are not included, this new team will see a major blow, esp against Australia. Let us wait and watch.

I could not agree more with you. The trio will remain great players and their performance and approach will always be cherished. They should not retire but allow them selves some time and not participate in each & every series. What went missing till the present 20:20 was not skill but the hunger to win.

Put only the Northern in charge and you will see anger, egos and a attitude to never give up and fight. Thats always missing from Southern boys [ maybe history is to blame for their no-gut-they never saw invasion across the border, never needed to show gut to fight and hence are always complacent].
Northern & North-Eastern boys rule! They can fight and create respect for India. Keep this going.

hey confused geography man Mumbai is to the west of India and gangtok is to the east of india. For you confused south india anything above the 4 states is north India. Applying your logic we should only have 2 teams for duleep trophy but we have 5 zones (East, West, North, South and Central). please take a crash course in geography
