You are really good at writing. Kudos to you. Looks like you are into some editorial. Anyway, I would like to give you some reason why most of us don't go with you on your views,
1) First of all if anyone is playing bad, then its bad for our country. After all giving a comparison between Sachin and Sehwag doesn't hold any good. Bad is bad, less or more doesn't really matter. So dont try to give this kind of justification.
2) A player of Sachin stature should have not spoken to the media. After all Chappell didn't speak about any particular player. He didn't name anyone. A person tries to defend himself only when he has done something wrong or he has been named in a false case. If you look at the current issue, then all the finger points to Sachin, because he came out and started defending himself though he wasn't names directly. So it shows the kind of mentality he possesses.
3) A player like sachin should not bother opening the batting or playing in 5th position. He was asked to play in middle order so that he could support the team with his batting skils in case if wicket falls quicker. Better read this, it will give you more clarification.
Last but not least, not everything is fine. Its a corporate world buddy. Better you perform, better you get paid. If you don't perform, you will be shown the door. Same applies everywhere. After all, when a horse gets older, s/he will be shot dead because its no more affordable to keep on feeding the horse. So live with reality, and accept the truth. Please don't get emotional. There in no place for emotions in professional fields.
