Hi Nikhil,

F1 drivers do a recce before driving on the track. I've also heard that some of the teams use virtual circuits to know them better. I do think navigational support is in the terms of who's behind one driver, the difference in lap time, the car ahead of him, his speed etc., but not similar to the WRC where the navigator states each turn, corner and the like. I'm not an expert either. I think it's easier to understand if you are a regular viewer of the races.
