Mona Shah, it is encouraging to notice that you have stopped to read this article and that the problems in the hills have effected you in some way. But it has to be pointed out to you that you have certain misunderstandings. The movement in Kashmir is for the demand of a separate country , away from India. So is the case of Khalistan. But this is not the same with the Gorkhas. They are demanding a separate state within Indian, just away from Bengal. They are just sick and tired with the underdeveloped conditions in the hills.
